The briefings given are informative, the dive sites are varied and interesting (our favourite was the four tunnels), and there never seemed to be any rush. Each of the dives from the boat were in excess of 50 minutes, and the pace under the water was very mellow.

As the dive centre is located in the campsite, and as there is a generous break between the dives, means that you can grab a drink or snack very easily.

We're hoping to return next year and see if we can spot the elusive seahorse!

During the course there was a lot of focus on diving safety, how to take care of yourself and your buddy under water. The course was a great experience for us, we had a lot of fun and fell in love with diving. After completing the course we did our first boat dive with Robi. He also made us feel very safe and took time to help us during this experience. Hippocampus is a very good, well maintained diving center. The team is very friendly and relaxed.   We tried the Try Scuba Diving experience at the Hippocampus diving center. Everything was smooth from the start to the finish. All it took for booking was a simple Whatsapp... read more message to Robi and he did the reservation and answered all my questions advance before the appointment and made us already feel extremely comfortable about the experience.

On the day of the diving, Laura was assigned to us as an instructor. To be honest, some of us were non-swimmers and extremely panicky about the experience. However, Laura was very patient with us and helped us enjoy the experience. We spent a lot of time trying to get comfortable in our scuba diving gear in the surface, so we didn't have much time left for the actual diving experience. But Laura and the other Hippocampus staff were quite accommodating and let us spend extra time so that we could have our first memorable diving experience. Everyone was so nice to us! I'm so happy with the memories that I will carry for the rest of my life. Special thanks to Laura for everything! Definitely want to take up a longer scuba diving training course now.

  Joined hippocampus for a morning wreck dive to the "Tito vis" wreck at 33m depth. Booked the evening before, but they were super helpful and accommodating. 17 degrees temp and... read more about 20m visibility. We nipped out on a pretty tidy rib and were at the dive site in only about 15min. Good done briefing, good group control from the guide and everything from start to finish ran nice and professional. Had my own gear, but school gear and compressor looked well maintained and looked after.
Have had my own dive centre for the last 7 years so I can certainly say that it was a good all round experience from a good, well run done centre. Have a great rest of the season guys.
