Lage:
Die Tauchbasis liegt auf einem Campingplatz. Wer dort wohnt, kann einfach zu Fuß zur Basis laufen, alternativ kann direkt an der Basis geparkt werden.
Die Tauchbasis liegt fußläufig zum Ablegesteg. Die Ausrüstung wird an der Basis aufgebaut und mit Rollwagen zum Wasser gefahren. Von dort werden alle Tauchplatz außer dem Hausriff mit dem Zodiac angefahren.

Kleiner Tipp: Bei langen Fahrten oder starkem Wellengang besser hinten beim Kapitän sitzen 🙂

  We enjoyed diving with Hippocampus at the BiVillage (Fazana) location. They have a very good knowledge of excellent diving sites in de Fazana/Pula region. Every day there is a different... read more dive with spectacular underwater landscapes (walls, tunnels, wrecks).
They cater for different level divers. My son got his Open Water and Advanced license with them. They are patient and have eye for the individual, making it comfortable for everyone to learn diving.
My best experience was a dive to the Baron Gautsch (a WWI steam ship). Absolutely spectacular to swim through this 90 meter wreck.
I recommend everyone to take the plunge with Hippocampus. They are great!

We nipped out on a pretty tidy rib and were at the dive site in only about 15min. Good done briefing, good group control from the guide and everything from start to finish ran nice and professional. Had my own gear, but school gear and compressor looked well maintained and looked after.
Have had my own dive centre for the last 7 years so I can certainly say that it was a good all round experience from a good, well run done centre. Have a great rest of the season guys.

The diving instructor Sebastian, is... read more a very friendly and relaxed guy. He made us feel really safe while diving and took his time explaining the things we needed to learn. During the course there was a lot of focus on diving safety, how to take care of yourself and your buddy under water. The course was a great experience for us, we had a lot of fun and fell in love with diving.

After completing the course we did our first boat dive with Robi. He also made us feel very safe and took time to help us during this experience.

Hippocampus is a very good, well maintained diving center. The team is very friendly and relaxed. We would definitely recommend going here, if you want to go diving.
